Dear Parent/Guardian

Congratulations, your child has been considered to attend the Southeastern Region Cadet Leadership Course (CLC) at University of West Georgia, Carrollton, Georgia, June 9 – 17, 2023 – cadre; June 11 – 17, 2023 – basics. Selection was based upon demonstrated performance and potential for leadership excellence. NOTE: Currently the fee for camp is $392.00 for basics and $516.00 for cadre. The unit will pay the fees for each cadet (cadets will pay the first $100.00) attending, however, if the cadet is dismissed from camp for other than an emergency or medical condition, you agree to reimburse the $300.00 paid by Lakeside High School AFJROTC. .

This camp is designed to provide your child the level of leadership training necessary for him/her to return next academic year and help operate the cadet corps. The camp is challenging and demanding. The typical day will start at 5:30 a.m. and end at approximately 10:30 p.m. The daily agenda includes physical fitness training (1-mile run and exercises), drill practice, academics, athletics, and personal and dormitory room inspections. This CLC will also include a picnic and awards ceremony.

If you are interested in your child attending this event, please have them sign up in TeamApp (https://lakesideafjrotc.teamapp.com/clubs/562776/events/21075045?_detail=v1) No Later Than Apr 30. To be considered Cadets must be rising 10th, 11th or 12th grade students, No OSS during this school year, physically and medically fit and recommended by myself.

Felicitaciones, su hijo ha sido considerado para asistir al Curso de Liderazgo de Cadetes de la Región Sureste (CLC) en la Universidad de West Georgia, Carrollton, Georgia, 9 – 17 de junio, 2023 – cuadro; Junio 11 – 17, 2023 – conceptos básicos. La selección se basó en el desempeño demostrado y el potencial para la excelencia en el liderazgo. NOTA: Actualmente la tarifa para el campamento es de $ 392.00 para lo básico y $ 516.00 para el cuadro.
